ARENA HOMME PLUS MAG.

Arena Homme Plus, a fashion magazine presenting men with a new vision of lifestyle, publishes a monthly column blending fashion with humanities. Each issue offers subscribers thought-provoking perspectives on contemporary issues, encouraging them to stay ahead of their time with deeper cultural insight.

These issues span across society and culture—music, film, literature, politics, technology, sports, and more. Through film, we humorously reinterpret and narrate the stories behind these realities. Topics such as the Hong Kong protests, media-controlled neo-fascism, racial discrimination in the United States, class divides between white-collar and blue-collar workers, and global gentrification are translated into accessible and engaging social commentary.

My role was to translate complex social issues into visuals that felt easy and humorous, allowing subscribers to imagine the stories behind each column through the artwork. I wanted readers to stay engaged with the page for longer, so visual impact was essential. To achieve this, I used bright, eye-catching colors—tones rarely found in male-oriented media.

The design aimed to capture subscribers’ attention through sharp shapes and bold layouts. Every object in the collage was carefully chosen to be either directly related to or symbolic of the stories explored in the column.
